The rating system is intended to guide you on not how good the book was (because all of the books featured on this blog are considered a good enough read to share), but the level of steam it emits.
Each book will be rated with 1-5 of the steamy icons you see here.
One = the story gave off no sexual tension whatsoever (you probably won't be seeing any of these)
Two = it had its moment, but mostly fizzled
Three = romance story with some pretty toasty sex scenes
Four = incredibly sexy story with traditional man and woman partners
Five = it was so hot you're going to need some alone time after reading (erotica)
